Developmental nature of technologies
References to technology platforms, biomedical devices, diagnostic systems, sensing technologies, intelligent medical systems, software, prototypes, research programs, and product concepts may describe work that is conceptual, experimental, under research or development, at a prototype stage, or not commercially available.
A research area is not a claim that a specific development program has been completed, that a device has been manufactured, or that a product is available for medical use. Actual progress may depend on scientific feasibility, engineering results, validation, funding, resources, partnerships, intellectual property, regulatory requirements, and other factors. Projects may change, be delayed, or not proceed. Website statements do not guarantee a development milestone, launch date, investment outcome, or future capability.
No offer to sell developmental products
Developmental information is not automatically an offer to sell or supply a regulated medical product, an invitation to use a prototype clinically, or a commitment to deliver a future technology. Any actual commercial offering would require specific terms and compliance with applicable requirements.
